NICRO divides its work into two service streams. Each service stream consists of a range of services. The interventions are used across the two service streams.
Criminal Justice Service Stream
The Criminal Justice Service Stream consists of the following services:
- Diversion services
- Adult diversion
- Child diversion
- Non-custodial sentencing services
- Prison services
- Correctional centres
- Child and youth care centres
Community Crime and Violence Prevention Service Stream
The Community Crime and Violence Prevention Service (CVP) consists of al the work NICRO does in communities:
- School safety and violence prevention
- Community education, outreach and mobilisation
- Capacitation and training or professionals and community members
