We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Financial Manager to join our team at NICRO. In this role as National Finance Officer, you will lead our financial management operations and report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and the NICRO Board. You will be responsible for overseeing financial risks, planning, accounting, and comprehensive financial reporting. This pivotal role is integral in shaping strategic financial policies and ensuring robust financial controls across the organization. The ideal candidate will hold a BCom degree and possess significant practical experience in financial management, demonstrating the ability to drive robust financial performance and strategic planning.

The Social Worker provides therapeutic social work services to individuals in conflict with the law, which promote the protection, wellbeing, rehabilitation, and best management of these individuals in the criminal justice system. The Social Worker will work toward this goal through the delivery of a range of services and interventions designed to meet desired rehabilitative (behavioural change), criminal justice outcomes and crime prevention in the communities. The social worker provides a critical connection between the criminal justice system and social services.
BA Social or B. Social Science Degree in Social Work
Current registration with the SACSSP
Therapeutic experience
Group facilitation experience
Valid driver’s licence mandatory
Driving school competency report
Must be bi-lingual, in English and Zulu
An interest and passion to work with adult and/ or young offenders within the Criminal Justice System
Understanding of Restorative Justice processes
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Must have good administrative skills
Exceptional report-writing skills
Must be computer literate
Police clearance certificate
